Autumn 2024 Meeting at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum

Spring 2026 Meeting

Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May

We’re really looking forward to this Spring Meeting, visiting three of the most beautiful gardens in the South East. Each garden tour will be led by the Head Gardener and so this is a great opportunity to delve into the gardens, perhaps seeing trees that may otherwise have been missed and finding out more about these historic arboreta. All of our meetings are informal and you really don’t need to be an expert to join us – we’re all enthusiastic maple-lovers at heart!

There will also be an evening meal arranged on the Saturday to give you a chance to catch up with friends old and new.

International Maple Symposium 2026

Sunday 25th October to Tuesday 27th October

The Maple Society of Britain and Ireland has partnered with The Maple Society of North America and are delighted to offer a fabulous three day symposium based in and around Westonbirt Arboretum, The National Arboretum. Featuring talks by some of the world’s leading maple experts, specialist guided tours of Westonbirt and Highgrove Gardens, along with a delicious gala dinner at Stonehouse Court. The symposium will then be followed by an additional three day tour of Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Kew Gardens and the Savill and Valley Gardens, Windsor.

Please note, that this event is open to all Maple Society members.
